Become a Gravity Stretching trainer-operator
The method spreads one trainer at a time. A studio can be set up from a distance; a trainer cannot. This page says who a trainer-operator is, how the preparation goes, and how to tell us you exist.

Who a trainer-operator is
A trainer-operator is a person who has passed the program, holds the certificate, and runs Gravity Stretching classes in their own city: on their own point, in a rented hall, or on a partner’s floor. They keep the standard of the method, and they keep their people coming back.
It is not a job with a boss. It is a craft with a standard. The standard is written down, the exam is the same for everyone, and the certificate can be lost as easily as it was earned: a missed yearly re-check, a forbidden move, or a medical promise to a client takes it away.
The first group is being assembled by personal invitation: a few people we already know by name, from different crafts, who commit to run classes for three months after the exam. The form at the bottom is how you tell us you should be on that list.
Four steps to the certificate
Textbook first, then class beside a working studio, then exam. Not the other way around.
- 01
Your own body: ten classes as a client
Before anything else you go through the method yourself. Ten classes, all base levels, with a trainer. You learn where your own limits are and what lighter actually feels like.
Passed when: You have passed all base levels and know your own limits.
- 02
Knowledge: the manual and the recordings
The level one manual, filmed classes, the safety protocol, the language of a class: which phrases are used and which words are never said. You learn to ask the four opening questions and to speak the three rules out loud.
Passed when: You walk through a whole class step by step, without notes.
- 03
Hands: ten classes assisting
You stand next to a senior trainer for ten real classes. You set up the station, you spot, you lead parts of the class. Little by little the senior trainer says less.
Passed when: You set up the station and led a block alone while the senior trainer stayed silent.
- 04
Exam: a full class with a real beginner
You run a complete level one class with a person who has never hung on the lianas. The examiner watches and writes. Eight criteria, each a yes or a no.
Passed when: Eight out of eight. Any no sends you back to step three for that one point.
The eight criteria of the exam
Each one is a yes or a no. There is no partial credit and no discussion on the day.
- 1The opening questions are asked, all four, in order.
- 2The three rules are spoken out loud: relax, breathe, never through pain.
- 3The levels go in order, top down.
- 4The integration pauses are made, not skipped.
- 5A client’s “it hurts” or a moment of fear is met by the protocol.
- 6Not one forbidden move: no hanging by the neck, no pushing a beginner into pain, no medical promise.
- 7The client’s next visit is booked by the trainer, in the system, before the client leaves.
- 8The client says “lighter” on their own, without being asked.
Eight out of eight is the certificate. It gives the right to run classes under the method and to work on a point of the network.
What the program hands you
You do not build the method from scratch. You get the box, and you keep it in order.
The program
The manual and the filmed classes for level one, then the following levels as you grow. The seven levels are the same in every city, so a client with a level passport is at home at any point.
The kit
The lianas, the loops for the fingers and the supports for the feet, sourced to the standard, with the setup guide for a hall, a rented room or a private space.
Booking through bookgravity
Your schedule, your clients and their level passports live in bookgravity, the same system every point uses. Your client’s next visit is one tap.
The standard
The safety protocol, the language of a class, the yearly re-check. The standard protects the client, and it protects your name.
The other operators
A way to talk to every other trainer-operator: questions, cases, cover when you travel. Ten trainers who know each other by name are stronger than fifty who do not.
Who this is for
- An instructor of a body practice, yoga, pilates, stretching, movement, who wants a method that clearly sets them apart and a standard that stands behind it.
- A long-time client who felt the change in their own body and wants to give it to people in their city.
- Someone ready to spend a season learning by hand next to a working studio before running a single class alone.
Who this is not for
- Someone who wants to teach after a weekend course. The shortest honest path is ten classes in your body, the manual, ten classes assisting, then the exam.
- Someone who plans to promise clients a medical result. The method makes the body lighter; it does not diagnose, and it does not promise to fix a diagnosis. That promise loses the certificate.
- Someone looking for a passive income scheme. This is a craft you practise with your hands, several times a week.
What you will be teaching
Gravity presses on us all day. In Gravity Stretching the body hangs on the lianas: you hold on with your hands and feet and let the body hang. Gravity keeps pulling the same way, down, but now it lengthens instead of squeezing. Space comes back to the spine, pressure comes off, and the body remembers how to live straight.
Nothing is forced. Three rules at every class: relax, breathe, never through pain. Most people leave lighter after the very first class. There are seven levels; the first five are open to anyone and bring the body to its best, six and seven are for when you already feel great and get curious how much further it goes.
A trainer here does not fix the body. A trainer convinces it, softly, by feel, one millimetre at a time. That is what the ten classes beside a senior trainer are for: the manual gives you the words, the hands come from standing next to someone who has them.
Questions people ask before applying
How long does the program take?
Ten classes as a client at your own pace, then about two weeks of intensive work on the manual and the recordings, then ten classes assisting. Most people who live near a working studio are ready for the exam within a season.
What does it cost, and what are the terms?
The first group is invited by name and is not asked to pay for the preparation; in return they commit to run classes for three months after the exam. Any other terms are discussed after the exam, with each person, not on a web page.
Can I do it without a working studio nearby?
Steps one and three need a live studio and a senior trainer beside you. Right now that means Bali. If you are far away, write anyway: the first invitations go out by name, and knowing you exist is how the next studio’s city gets chosen.
What takes the certificate away?
A missed yearly re-check, a repeated forbidden move, or a medical promise made to a client. The standard is short, and it is the same for everyone.
Tell us you exist
Seven fields. A person reads every application before anyone writes back. If it is a match, we write; if the timing is wrong, we say so.
Terms of working under the certificate are discussed after the exam, individually. Nothing on this page is an offer.
