Can stretching help with knee pain?
Gravity Stretching Method Team
Knees often hurt not because of the knee itself, but because of what is tight above and below it - stiff hips and ankles make the knee absorb load it was never meant to. The body is one system: where something is locked, its neighbour pays for it. That is why working only on the sore spot rarely helps for long.
How Gravity Stretching helps
We work with the whole body, not just the knee. Slow, supported stretches bring the hips and legs back to life, decompression of the body takes the pressure off the whole chain, and the knee finally carries a fair share instead of everything at once. The straps support the legs, so nothing is loaded or forced - we improve the body, we do not exhaust it.
If the knee is swollen or feels unstable, tell your trainer beforehand and start with a one-on-one session at the softest level. Listen to your body and let the balance return step by step.
