Why is my whole body stiff, and how do I fix it?

Confidence: Method practice

Waking up stiff all over, feeling like the whole body has tightened into one knot, usually comes from three things at once: a spine squeezed by sitting, joints that rarely move through their full range, and a nervous system stuck in tension. Stress is the number one problem of our time - a body that is always braced for something never gets the command to soften.

How Gravity Stretching helps

Gravity Stretching answers all three. In the hang the spine lengthens - decompression of the body creates space and takes the pressure off. Slow, supported stretches return range to the joints. And the whole practice is led by breathing, because the mind switches off only through the breath - once it does, the tension finally dissolves. People often describe it as a full reset: not just an easier back, an easier body.

Consistency is what holds the change. Regularity matters more than intensity - a soft habit, a couple of times a week, and the body unwinds layer by layer.
